Here are my most Frequently Asked Questions.
Please contact me if you have any other questions not covered below and I will be happy to help.
Using an non-professional photographer to take an important picture can be a false economy.
The impact a professionally-made image has on a client’s market is far stronger than that of a quickly grabbed snap from a digital camera. Professional photography will sell your product or your company far more effectively. Photographers are not just technicians. A professional understands how to capture images that are right for a client’s business and convey the message required. Their experience enables them to obtain successful results in any situation.
A professional photographer will hold all the necessary insurances, e.g., public liability, professional indemnity etc., these are vital for your peace of mind and the health and safety on every shoot.
I have worked over the years with a huge range of clients, from bands and comedians, to celebrities and musicians, brands, luxury brands, sports stars and even large corporate companies. With this experience I have found I am ready to dive confidently into almost any situation to shoot your images.

I am happy to use a local studio to you, your office, a location of your choice or where ever else you want your shoot to take place.
Depending on location I may request that my travel expenses are covered. As a general rule, I am happy to travel for 30 minutes from Reading, this includes all London locations free, any further I would require my expenses to be included.

The photographer being the author of the images owns the copyright to all images.
It works exactly the same as a musician who has control on who can reproduce their works, a photographer controls the rights and licenses to reproduce their images.
For detailed information on the Copyright Designs & Patents Act 1988 and further information on copyright ownership, please visit: www.ipo.gov.uk
Depending on the usage, I will issue you a licence that will reflect the agreed media use – ie. on a website, in a brochure etc, for the time period you wish to use the images for, and the territories in which the images will be shown. The use of these images will be exclusive to you.
This means that the photographer will not be able to allow any third-party to use the images you are using during the time they are licensed for your use, and possibly beyond, depending on what has been agreed.
